The ‘Made in the Cape Market‘ is a ‘high end’ market showcasing the creativity of the Cape.
Exhibitors include silversmiths, carpenters, ceramic artists, interior decorators, textile artists, creators and designers of varied genres, carefully chosen for the quality and creativity of their work.
This is a great opportunity to meet the maker – hear the story behind each product, and purchase directly from the designer / producer. Building local economy from the ground up – each designer / artisan directly and indirectly employs previously disadvantaged individuals and groups.
The market is held approximately once a month, for a full weekend (Thursday through to Sunday), with a bumper Christmas edition in November / December. Market stands are located on street level, around the escalator circle and in corridors towards C N A and Woolworths.
